Principal's Corner
Dear West Elementary Families,
I am happy to introduce myself as the LISA Academy West Elementary Principal. I have been blessed to work with LISA Academy since the 2009-2010 school year. I have called three campuses my home over the years including LISA North Elementary, LISA West Elementary, and LISA Hybrid. Some of you know me from previous years with West Elementary. I served as an Assistant Principal for five years beginning with the opening year, 2016-2017, to the 2021-2022 school year. I moved to the LISA Academy Arkansas Hybrid school for its 2021-2022 opening year. I cannot express how fortunate I am to have the opportunity to work with the team and families here at West Elementary.
Education is a passion of my own as I love to challenge myself professionally. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock and my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. I am also a licensed administrator in the state of Arkansas. I am currently enrolled in the Master Principal's Leadership Program through the Arkansas Public School Resource Center.
I am thrilled to be the West Elementary principal. With my previous experience in our building, I am familiar with the
extraordinary work that has been done over the six years since we opened in July 2016. My philosophy regarding leadership centers around working as a team, emphasizing collaboration between school and families, student-centered decision making, and dedication to the most important thing in our building, your children and their social,
emotional, and academic education.

I plan opportunities for us to work together throughout the year to ensure the success of our students with strong home and school relationships. I welcome all of your feedback, concerns, suggestions, and partnerships. Please know that your input is some of the most valuable information I can gain to move our school towards excellence.
Warm Regards,
Krystle Hula, M.Ed.
